At Daffodil Housing CIC, we provide safe, affordable housing and supported accommodation for individuals experiencing housing insecurity and homelessness across the UK, where services are available. Our housing services are designed to promote stability, independence, and long-term wellbeing.
Social Housing
Social housing offers genuinely affordable homes with rents set in line with local incomes, providing secure and stable accommodation for people who need it most. Not-for-profit organisations manage these homes and play a vital role in preventing homelessness, supporting communities, and creating long-term housing security.
Our social housing aims to:
• Be more affordable than private renting
• Offer safe, secure, and long-term tenancy options
• Support people at risk of homelessness or living in unsuitable housing
Eligibility
Social housing is available to individuals who demonstrate housing need, including:
• Low income or receipt of welfare support
• Risk of homelessness
• Poor or unsuitable housing conditions
• Overcrowding or under-occupation
Eligibility is assessed in line with our allocation criteria.
Supported Housing
Supported housing provides accommodation alongside tailored support for individuals who need extra help to live independently. This includes people who have experienced homelessness or who face additional challenges that make it difficult to sustain a tenancy without support.
Support may include:
• Practical and emotional guidance
• Help managing a tenancy and finances
• Support with daily living skills
• Access to training, education, or employment opportunities
Each resident receives an individual support plan focused on building confidence, stability, and independence.
